Dr. Tolmie graduated with distinction from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree. He then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo. During this time, Dr. Tolmie had the privilege of training at OMNI Eye Services in Atlanta, Georgia, where he gained invaluable experience in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease, including dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
